We Decided

We Decided

A Story by neurostar burns

We, who can assess and make decisions on our own:

Decisions are made every day. Quite a few have impact even though they seem not to be momentous. In societies big and small, decision by one or many have impact and consequences. At times these decisions have unforeseen collateral effects.

Not often openly thought of or discussed is generational continuity, or continuation, i.e. familial lineage. {Interesting such terminology is already shunted aside and perverted to another terminology by technology!} It is a decision that demands attention in policy making, not to be downplayed in society. Such decisions can be momentous and not merely academic.

The following is not focusing on generational discontinuity (familial lineage) that was effected by eradication and extinguishment of whole family lines, which is replete in history by direct force or programming. This will be about individual decisions by those who assess.
                                                                   Part II

Often some feature of society claims that for the next generation there will be better living or that standards of living will improve, and sometimes that claim also cannot be supported or fully realized. Despite such short comings, the general attitude in this situation is to gloss over those who are unfortunate. This is not perceived as an improvement by some in society no matter what their status, affluent or not.

The situation may be perceived by some as a continuation of indifference of application to different members of society. Even those who are well educated, learn many languages, have cultural experiences which should make them a valuable member may find themselves overlooked or marginalized or other many hosts of being treated indifferently. This does not comprise a forced extinction but rather by program which the eligibility for benefits or attention is left for the selection of select few. This becomes self perpetuating and is not changed because it also becomes self rewarding for those who execute this programming and is difficult to disengage. Nurturing seems all but totally occluded or absent. There may not be much room for other pursuits other than fulfilling non-personal programming (perhaps for a lifetime). It may leave very little for some to look forward to in their personal goals or expression, e.g. liberty and the pursuit of happiness or sense of self or self identity not imposed from the outside.

Some conclude this is not an enriching or rewarding way or lifestyle to exist and perhaps so even for other members of humanity. They conclude this way is not optimal or even promising for offspring to have to live through and experience.

This is noted especially by the educated, the thinkers and those who feel and express, who are supposedly valued. It leaves only, at best, marginal ways to improve which in turn may still not be widely acknowledged. Viewing this as an ongoing trend which spans generations without being redressed, many assess this as premeditated and humanely repugnant. So, this has nothing to do with impatience.

Reviewing everything, some think they must assess future trends and make a choice. So distasteful is this ongoing activity of indifference it seems, especially to the intelligent ones, there is only one logical way to address this in the ongoing, premeditatively indifferent society systems which put more energy in promoting themselves rather than an individual. That is to make what one innately is endowed to do, make decisions. In this case, to make a decision on generational lineage (familial continuity).

Experiencing REPUGNANCE, well educated people and others of the 1970's and since therefore vowed only one decision-to non-violently not further their generation or lineage with offspring e.g. no procreation for the entire life. Refrain and remain resolute throughout, no caving in. [This vow includes those of my lineage who have royal background.] To not continue this pathos of lifestyle and impose it further upon offspring-this disarraying entropy. The option of living with this pervasive indifference is not viewed as conducive to an enriching, easeful way to live or pursuit no matter what effort some have put forth toward betterment.

It is also stated that we cannot feed all the hungry of the world, and we don't by choice or design of program eligibility or otherwise. So the above decision to refrain should help alleviate the need to feed so many and perpetuate such sinister programs that have little regard for humaneness. Note that most of today's progress is bent to betterment of machines and technology, not humans, resulting in living in rapid dehumanization and unemployment which is not optimally counterpointed or alleviated by legislative powers, e.g. inanimate items and processes are given higher value over a human life, they even get security protection prioritized above human needs or value when it comes to contestment or adjudication.

Those who choose to not bring their offspring into such environments of misleading lies are sparing those unconceived offspring from the manipulations and designed exploitations of the "better" or "upper" crust which are only more self rewarded. This could be like breaking or altering a cycle at several levels, perhaps breaking dependencies. (Such resolve or vows is something that some leaders, including religious figures, are known world wide for. Or will such resolve become banned despite its advocates?)

This is not the end. There are abundances of people who think some future generation will reap countless benefits. There are abundances of those who for some reason or way or carnal desire want theirselves and offspring to live the grind, testiness of limited promises put out by the "better" or "upper" crust while they are also marginalized once again, and believe this is "improvement" to be repeated through future generations and a risk to peoples' alternate choice lifestyles.

Due to abundances of impersonal planning, some in society feel it is up to them to take the initiative and make decisions on living values. Many have already made that reflection and decision. Many more will in the future.

Note: the material herein is not necessarily a reflection of entropy of current societies.
