Eternal Inflation-A Jest?A Story by neurostar burnsA sound appraisal of a popular astronomical notion
A modern astronomical concept toward explaining the presence of existence is eternal inflation, i.e. would operate repeatedly nonstop. Eternal inflation is held to be at the beginning of a universe that helps the cosmos expand into a prolonged existence beyond the high chances that it would not sustain existence. The hot inflation is believed by some to not only occur for the present physical universe but additonally there is no hindering of the immense heat it encloses, thereby is the mechanism for producing further hot inflations is untethered and may continuously redevelop.
A given will be the immeasurable heat, I.M. for this purpose, that initiates inflation, according to some. Its probability has been questioned by others. If such an I.M. produced the physical cosmos. Then observationally, like all heat, there must be a traceable path. It is assumed if there are multiple inflations (and thus multiverses) there would be found residue or afterglow that points to whence the next hot inflation occurred. Tracing this would simply be like a chinese string firework popping off in the cosmos space. Simple basics of combustion. Since the positing of eternal inflation and with the aid of powerful observatories and other detection techniques, there has been no ascertainable report of detecting other inflations that should be sparking off beyond our universe like a chinese string firecracker. There should be some residual heat path remaining or afterglow in this cosmos since its inception which might point to where the next event would be located. Clearly, against such a dark, cold background, a string of hot inflations would be located if not visually, then with the many other spectal lenses that watch space. Lack of such implies delimitation, like a diminished, dissipated, one time bonfire. What to think? !) There could be inflations in other spectrums or compositions as of yet undetected, like deep ultraviolet. 2) Go back to the drawing board 3) Show conclusive evidence of ongoing inflations 4) Conclude for now that none can be detected or don't exist as postulated. © 2017 neurostar burns |
