i tried to steal a pizza

when i was hungry

from a big store

across the road

and i was brave

and my heartbeat loudly

and i was nervous

and the guard must have seen

for he ordered i put it back

and i did

and he took my name

 

 

and if he’d have called the fuzz,

you wouldn’t be sat

on my knee right now

and i’d be still back in England 

talking to you long distance
