Freedom

Freedom

A Chapter by J.M.B

i’m the missing man.

lostness -

in a chitinous shell.

i know i’m not free,

but freedom is what i want,

freedom caught my eye,

as i walked over cracked

concrete,

trapped, in-between old

buildings,

when i saw

a black man, my age, drive past

in a golden Merc
