(unless your name happens to be Richard Dawkins) (cough) (cough) we’re moving into the age where creeping technology seems to be taking over, where check-out girls are being replaced by self-service systems, when unthinking, programmed mechanical bureaucracies themselves will be replaced by computers, and when the men and women of a few hundred years from now look back, divorced from hive-roles and shoddy consumer based cultural capitalism, they will see what the out-castes always saw, and that the mad, quote, unquote, were like the men and women of the pre-Galilean middle-ages, when only the mad, quote, unquote, could think the earth round
