Timeless

Timeless

A Poem by Jeanette Taal

The etching on the canvers the angst in the eyes,
Tears that shine like moon light on a midnight lake,
Corn coloured hair that makes you think of summertime and medow flowers,
That linger in your mind.
My brush flows over the page this time the face ,
smiles back at me ,just a snap shot just how they want it,
No part of me in this painting,
No angst ,no moonlight ,no soul.
When I paint it comes from the hart and part of my soul is left as a timeless line ,
This is forever my timeless gift .
