upon an emotional departure

i had to leave i had no choice 

oh how i yearned once more

to hear your voice

the i love you that were said

were so sincere but the goodbyes

led emotionally to many tears

i told him never to forget me

he said how can i my dark venus

when you mean so much to me

i promised to look for him

whenever i was free

when society and my past

no longer controlled me

we said our last i love yous

then our goodbyes

in hopes to one day reunite

and make up for our lost times
