MURDER?

Nesamalar

19 December 2017

Slowly, I washed the blood off the stark white wall of the small narrow bathroom. I hadn’t meant to do it- to take a living being’s life- but I couldn’t help it.

The incessant whining had finally gotten to me. I had tried my best to ignore it, but finally snapped.

And you know what- I didn’t feel the slightest bit guilty- she deserved it! The bloodsucker! I had reached out, moved swiftly, and that was the end of her.

Loud knocking on the door startled me.

“I’m coming,” I called out, as I opened the door and came out of the bathroom. My friend stood just outside, waiting to come in.

I gave a final backward glance before I left-no sign remained of the bloody remnants of the mosquito I had squashed-only a damp spot on the now pristine bathroom wall.
