That Dresser Drawer

That Dresser Drawer

A Poem by Arianna

They sit in my Bottom Drawer
all the Cloths you Leave Here
Accidentally
or not.

Nicely Folded
Waiting for you to need them
or me to give them back
but Neither happens

they just sit There
Reminding me of you
every day
when Iopen that Drawer

It gets more full,
As Time goes by
I Guess it makes sense
but, I'm just noticing it now

How there seems to be
more of your things
in that Dresser Drawer than mine
my Dresser Drawer

The one I fill
with the shirts you leave
or the socks you forget
so My Mom Dosn't rip them

The one I fill with Hoodies
and and Tee Shirts
and Pants
from that day We played in the Rain

and I'm just noticing now.
that the Drawer
the one at the bottom of my Dresser
isn't really mine

It's yours
Your cloths
Your smell,
Your Drawer, in my Dresser.

I have a wife that took over the whole bedroom with clothing. I'm a man. I need a four foot section and I'm set. I understand this poem. Some folks seem to need more room for their belongings. A excellent poem.
