i wish

my family in a nutshell.

i wish
 i liked them
those people
who are supposed
 to share my genes
the ones who share my history
my past
those ones who dance trough my present
sticking their noses up
as if
ill never be good enough
the ones who fill my future
with their sneers
and taunts
iv'e received my whole life
i wish i liked them
those people who were my neighbors
those ones who have my nose
and my toes
and my eyes
but my nothing else
i wish i liked them
those people
who i wouldn't invite over
just to hang out
even if you paid me
those people who's judgments
fuel my worst insinuates
those people who made my life
so difficult
and acted like
they treated me no different
than anyone else
see,
i wish i liked them
i wish they went so judgmental
so
picky
so them
because then
i wouldn't spend so much time
wishing
that they liked me
