Faceless.

Faceless.

A Poem by Arianna

he wasnt exactly what i imagined
when i was little
the guy id be with forevor
that guy
was
shorter
and louder
and to be honest
meaner
id imagine my life
with this faceless man
with faceless children
i imagined up
friends
and a house
and a job
and now i dont have to imagine
that guy
at my wedding has a face
and hes tall
and not too loud
and sweet
i can imagine our children
i know our friends
my job
so yeah
he wasnt exactly what i imagined
he was so much better

It gives you a real sense inside your head. You try to imagin a guy that you've never met, children that you might never have. One standing on the other end of that isle, the others sprinting through your backyard. It's so greatly put out.

Aw, this is really, erm, "raw" and I like the way you just seemed to pour your heart out, I like the way the word "faceless" is applied in a way that creates sad, little desperate images. I really like this :)
