i lay there
next to you
evry day.
wondering how it happend
how out of all the continents
the countries
the states
the towns
how we ended up in the same one
wondering
how against all odds
i talked to you
takeing a break
from my studies
witch i swore i wouldnt
to meet you
to get to know you
how against all odds
i fell for you
let you in
trusted you a little.
how you left me
but how after months
of not talking
of not seeing each other
we clicked
and i broke my rule
of not giveing second chances
how against all odds i fell for you again
trusted you a little
fell for you
day by day
minute by minute
and how against all odds
we end up laying in this bed
evrey day
your arm around me
fingers laced with mine
breath on my neck
and against all odds
i feel safe
secure
loved
i lay there sometimes
thinking about all the things
that could have gone wrong
all the things
that could prevent this
my safe haven
my happy place
my escape from the world
and i have to take a moment
to think
about how against all odds
we are togother
and we always will be
forevor
and ill get to spend
my days like this
laying in bed
your arms around me
fingers laced with mine
smile on my face
as you whisper in my ear.
