Teaching a Teacher.

evry teacher i know
has a story
of a teacher that inspired them
to do what they do
a story of a teacher
who made them realize
they could do it
a teacher who taught them
what a teacher could really do
a teacher
who in essence
taught them
how to teach
im a sophmore in high school
and im going to become a teacher
but that moment
that revelation
wasnt brought by one teacher
it was brought by all of them
the good ones
the bad ones
the ones who make you laugh
the ones that make you cry
the big
the tall
the short
the small
and evry teacher in between
all made me want to be a teacher
evry teacher
and their story
about that one teacher before them
no matter weither i hated my teacher
or loved them
i learned from them
one thing
that behind evry lawyer
accountent
bus driver
congresman
garbage man
and president
is a teacher
who they would be lost without
who changed their life
weither they want to admit it
or not
a teacher
has effected them
now i have had my fair share of teachers
who inspired me
doubted me
challenged me
questioned me
and told me
i could do no wrong
an english teacher
who sang songs
to convay his messege
a social studies teacher
who made history
social
a math teacher
who made me realize
im not stupid
and a science teacher
who made science
fun
and its beacuse of these people
beacuse of these teachers
that i know
who i am
and who i want to become
i want to teach
not just my subject
but life
i want to make someone realize
they have talent
no matter what at.
i want
to teach
