Jumping Off Of Swings

jumping off of swings

in all honesty life is just that

jumping off a series of swings

trusting that the ground will be there to catch you

 

pumping the swing

to the point where

if you go any higher

youll flip over the swingset entierly

 

 

relesing the grip

you held so tight

not seconds before

letting go of the cold metal chain

 

pusing off the swing

flying trough the air

holding your breath

momentarily defing gravity before the touchdown

 

and be it graceful

as a balarenas

or a crashlanding

resulting in scabby knees

 

you landed.

body on the ground

thats all life is really

just jumpin off of swings
