Title UndecidedA Story by Alex ThomasJust a quick story I wrote. Not sure if I want to continue it. Justin Bieber fan fiction.“Why are you doing this Isabel? I love you; you love me. Tell me why we can’t be together.” Justin said. “I just can’t do this anymore, Justin. It’s too much for me.” I cried. “Why though? Why can’t you just try to make it work? It gets better, I promise.” “I tried Justin. I tried to make it work, but I can’t anymore.” “Just tell me why. Please. Is it the fans? The paparazzi? The travelling? Tell me.” “It’s everything, Justin. Everything. The fans hate me, the paparazzi is always in my business, and I miss home. I miss my family. I miss being able to go outside and not have to worry about the paparazzi and the fans. I miss being able to kiss you in public and not have the whole f****n’ world make a big deal about it. I miss the privacy and the calmness of my life. Now every little thing I do is made public and we’re always doing something. We can’t just lie in bed and watch movies or go to the park like we used to.” “You’re lying. I know you Isabel, you’re lying about something. You’re trying to hide something from me. Why won’t you just tell me?” “I’m not lying Justin. I swear.” “So you just miss being normal? That’s what this is all about? You miss being normal so you want to take a break?” I nodded slowly, knowing that I shouldn’t be lying to him. “Well if you can’t deal with all of this, then maybe we shouldn’t be together. At all.” “That’s not what I meant. I just need a little break from this. I just need-“ I was cut short. “Save it Isabel. Just go.” “But Justin-“ “No. Just.. just leave, please.” I shot up in bed with tears in my eyes. I had the same dream every night. But it’s not really a dream; it’s a memory. The one memory with Justin that I wish I could forget. The day he let me walk out. He didn’t fight for me. He didn’t try to stop me. He just… let me leave. I wiped the tears from my eyes and got up. I shuffled down the hall to Maggie’s room. I looked at her, sleeping peacefully in her bed. She looks so much like him. Yes, Justin. Her father. The guy I left 3 years ago because I was scared. I used the excuse of missing my normal life and I left. I just wish he would have forced me to tell him the real reason. I sighed and closed the door. I was walking downstairs to get some water when I heard someone knock on the door. Who the f**k is at the door at 4 in the morning? I thought. I looked through the peephole to see who it was and couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Justin. I opened the door, confused as to why he was here. “Hi Izzy” He said. “Hi Justin” I replied quietly. “Can I come in?” I nodded, still surprised, and moved out of the way so he could come in. “Nice place you got here.” “Uh thanks. How’d you, uh, how’d you find me?” “Your parents gave me your address.” “Oh… Can I get you anything? Water or something?” “No, I’m good thanks” I sat on the opposite couch as him. “I don’t mean to be rude or anything, but um, why are you here?” “I missed you” “But why now? Why after all these years did you decide to come and find me?” “I thought I could forget about you. But I just couldn’t. I was miserable without you.” “Do you know how hard it was for me to leave you? All I needed was a little time. Just a little time. But you couldn’t give me that.” “I’m sorry Izzy. I was just upset” “Yeah, well sorry isn’t good enough. Do you know what I’ve been through these last 3 years?” Just then, I heard Maggie upstairs calling for me. “Mommy!” She got out of bed and ran downstairs. She sat on my lap and wrapped her arms around my neck “Mommy, the monsters are gonna get me.” “Mommy?” Justin questioned. Maggie looked at him. “Mommy, who’s he? Is he your fwiend?” “Uhhh, why don’t you go lay down, Maggie. I’ll be there soon.” She hopped off my lap and ran back upstairs. As soon as she was gone, Justin looked at me. “How old is she?” He asked quietly. “Three” I responded, just as quiet, my eyes filling with tears. “Who’s her dad?” I didn’t say anything; I just let the tears roll down my cheeks. “Izzy... am I her dad?” I nodded slowly. “Why didn’t you tell me?” I looked at him. He looked more hurt than angry. “I was scared.” “Why? Did you think that I would leave you?” I shrugged. “Izzy, I would never leave you because of that. Do you know how much I love you? I would have taken care of you and Maggie.” He sighed. “Is that why you wanted to leave?” “Yeah” I whispered. He sat next to me and hugged me. “If you had just told me the truth I never would have let you leave me.” “Mommy, are you coming?” Maggie called from upstairs. “You should probably go” Justin said. I looked at him. “Do you wanna see her?” I asked as I got up. “Can I?” “She’s your daughter isn’t she?” he smiled at me and followed me upstairs to her room. I stood at the door and watched as he talked to her, explaining to her that he was her dad. She hugged him and I couldn’t help but get a little teary as he sang her to sleep. Things are definitely going to be different around here…© 2013 Alex ThomasAuthor's Note
