Perfection

Perfection

A Poem by Afriqua

“Who chooseth me shall get as much as he deserves.”
Really? If I choose you ,will I get what i deserve?
Or what you’re worth.
Yes ,I know you’re 100% gold
Irreplaceable ,Every girl wants to be able to hold
But are you worth the pain and toil
The suffering that causes me to boil
Over the edge.
All you have to do
Is stand there and smile
And the whole womankind
Is melting into chocolate piles
There’s no effort or tribulations or trial
To make you that perfect type
Of man that every lady wants to talk with for a while.
Are you what I deserve ?
Or what I’d reserve
for those few girls hoping that this summer
They’ll get their first kiss in your Hammer
To have that smile like Keke Palmer
Spread across their face when they see you walking farther
Farther away from that plastic shine of a bother.
Looking at your face ,appearing deep in thought
A penny for your thoughts?
As I look at your majestic face with that perfect jawline
I ask myself
Are you what I deserve?
Not a dime .
I deserve better ..
