God is a dentist

God is a dentist

A Poem by Alex Antony Anderson
"

had an image and built on it....first attempt on something like this...

"

Of all the physical pains that hit a man

Just two of them I can’t stand

An ear infection where you can’t reach in and rub

And the toothache that stop you

From peacefully eating your grub

Rather stab me in the chest

Hammer me on the head

But oh this tooth in the back of my mouth

Just too bad I can’t do anything about

Sitting in the doctor's chair

Even if it really is ever one

Halfway between laying down or sitting up

God tells you to adjust in the world he made

And you have to stick with it

Like it or say it isn’t fair

Pulls out the shiny tools for the job

Already facing the ordeal you are

And still prepare for more

You know the worst you have to do

To yourself before you can rest

And he bends over you with the promise

To make it better by making it just a bit worse

And says in your ear- it’s going to hurt just a little bit

This is the part which I detest

Why then pray everyday-lord do not bring me to the test
