Empty Inside

Feeling a little bit lonely, tried to channel my emotions into a poem.

Loneliness was all I had,

Until you came and broke that fad.

Many hours were spent for you,

But now they are all over due.

Friends we were, maybe more,

But all in all, it wore.

You moved on and left me,

Emptiness is all that could be.

For soon as you have gone away,

The fad crept back, both night and day.

My waking hours were bleak and dry,

During the night I would sit and cry.

For what better was left to do?

Sit and ponder what became of you.
