Your Smile is a Shotgun,

But my Silence is a Siren.

Emotional Cacophony,

I'm Singing in Silence.

My fear, your delight,

Lest you Forget,

Time is but a Glimpse,

The Seed will grow.

After all that has been unsaid,

& all that has been done,

Her prewritten verses,

She has sung to us in Silence.

I like the dance here. You have created a lot of imagery in a small space. A coy exchange between the two poeple that is actually heated and supercharged just beneath the surface of benality. Good piece.

This is a very powerful poem. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and my favourite verse is "But my silence is a siren." I think that is a beautiful juxtaposition. It's very difficult to express poems in such a way but you did a wonderful job of it. Keep up the great work!
