Anfractuosity

Anfractuosity

A Poem by NelliKong

There’s so many twists and turns… the road seems to get even more narrow and the walls leave cuts that burn… when I look at the scars I can see all the different patterns and curves… my eyes blurry from the cloudy weather but can somewhat see the lessons yet to be learned.

My mind tends to do a lot of bending… maybe I should put my subconscious on the market for sale instead of renting… they received an eviction notice because they got tired of me venting… now I have to put on my realtor face in order to face the world because they’re good at presenting… Im just getting used to having my emotions hidden because I’ve always been clever at inventing.
