Streetlight Imaginations

Streetlight Imaginations

A Poem by NelliKong

The streetlights come on at night, that’s when their imaginations run free… they wait till night arises so they don’t have to hear those that disagree…or have to beg on there knees, just for someone to listen… but I guess that’s the price you pay for being different.

The imaginations have been waiting for the green light…so they can take flight… into the night sky, in order to reach those limitations that are set so high… they can finally take off and fly… now they can look down at the ground and finally wave rejection goodbye.
