Purity Ring For Sale

Purity Ring For Sale

A Poem by NelliKong

Purity Ring for Sale

This ring has ran its course, I want the papers and to finalize this divorce; no need to go to court and to get lawyers involved, you and I both know we’re tired of it all.

I want this ring off my finger… and all the pain that may linger… leave me disfigured… its becoming as tight like a finger on the trigger. Nothing is pure about this, more like internal poison.

This purity ring will longer be a permanent fixture, no need to check the film because I see the bigger picture. This ring is for sale and I don’t care about the price…I just want it out of my life.

Why would I want something that has no purity…. took all my sense of security… and  leave everything in such obscurity?

So this ring… has no purity… the next buyer beware, all that’s left is doubt and uncertainty… as the new owner I hope it treats you better than its ever treated me.
