Shadows & Shade

I’ve always been one to dwell in the shadows… the longer I stay the more I decomposition… things have been low… so I stay froze… these thorns stick me from a perfectly blossomed rose.

I once emerged from the shadows and seemed to come out from that realm, but the light began to burn me and so I decided to go in the shade. It’s not s deep as the shadows, but also not too far away either. The shade protects the light from cutting me like a bade…. Yes I want to step out from the shade… make that trade… the pros and cons that I have weighted… all the reasons why I stayed… with all of my edges frayed.

Maybe one day I can leave the shadows and enter into the light… it burns but yet shines so bright… I try to leave but the shadow’s hands hold onto me so tight… eyes full of fright… I know I should go but stay out of spite.

One day… I will see the past shadows from the other side…once I come from out the shade I can no longer hide… soon I will show the inside.
