Daylight Craving Time

Daylight Craving Time

A Poem by NelliKong

Time is what I’m craving… I’m running out of it in my savings… if it runs out I’l leave my initials, a personalized engraving.

When the daylight becomes the night, the other side of the coin flips, then the change follows the script… hold on tight before you lose your grip.

I’ve been craving more time like a woman going through pregnancy, a high that will bring me ecstasy… then when the high has gone away, I’m left with the death penalty.

Craving this daylight time because the clock is ticking… it’s never sticking… the pages of my book that I keep flicking… through.

The little and big hands on the clock are not moving my liking… trying to invade the ship, just like a viking. I want to take time… put it on my ship and have it work in my favor, make it feel everything I felt, sinking in all the flavor… it wants me to put in a waiver.

This is a different type of rescue… a real time savor… now lets change time’s behavior.
