Cold RegardsA Poem by NelliKongRegard this regard that, the time I wish I could take it all back. No regard for my physical or emotional well being but me letting this off my chest with this pen is freeing. In this regard it was cold to the the touch, freezing like icicles forming from the ceiling, but I’ll soon melt them away with the heat from my healing. Fire and ice, two polarizing sides, one must die while the other survives. Shivering through this cold as if I have hyperthermia, you deeming this is what I’m worthy of. Cold. Will soon turn into hot weather and melt this hurt way, sunshine is coming as far as better days. So, a cold regard is no longer something I need, soon you yourself will be frozen when you see me reach higher heights can’t wait for you to see. Now you’re cold to the point you’re burning in the third degree. A cold world it is, which you’ll soon learn, now it’s time for the table to turn. I hope you have your coat and gloves to bundle up to walk through the treacherous weather but once you realize that I’m not in the forecast you’ll regret that I’m gone forever © 2023 NelliKong |
