Hate

Hate

A Poem by Mika Haruna
"

trepidation, anxiety, dredge, salivary, saft, sagittal, facile

"

the trepidation was great, the shaking thing agreed

it bowed its head and looked at me with black holes for eyes

it was my anxiety, my fear, my love and my hate, this thing was.

the dredge that is my heart pulled it from my very soul

into this living breathing thing before my eyes

it oozes and stretches, its form is black

this thing was inside of me

the stench is unbearable, but delicious at the same time

my salivary glands were agitated as was my stomach

my hate stood there facing me and i fell

pity was in my gaze at the poor thing

it needed the warmth of my heart

i grabbed onto the poor creature and its saft form dripped between my fingers

a sagittal light escape my form, its arrow shape breaking through the creature

it seemed to smile as it disappeared into the warm glow

i had not realized it was so facile to let go of my hate

This is a great way to describe hate and give it a true form. this poem is slightly eerie with hate staring you in the face. I love the ending.
