medicine

medicine

A Poem by Mika Haruna

i take the medicine

to make the pain go away

but it never stops, this tearing pain

it wont leave me salone, its eating me alive

This is all a dream

it has to be a dream

My reality is clouded in black

misery takes a hold of me and threatens

it suffocates me day in and day out, make it stop!

one deadly wish

one knife to grant it

oh my god, this is real

here i come to you, my beloved pain

around my neck the noose tightens

im going forever to the darkness

i need a hand to help me

the voice in my head

its screaming

save me

help

Yes, it's like a ladder down to the last word for your eyes. I loved it. Sad sad...

'Medicine' is a god title. Tough words. I like the way the final stanza tapers down to just one word: help
