Beads

Beads

A Poem by Mika Haruna

Once, a girl lost her beads.

"i must have dropped them in the desert"

So she searched the desert for a hundred years

"i must have dropped them in the ocean"

so she searched the ocean for a hundred years

"i must have dropped them in the mountains"

so she searched the mountains for a hundred years

How many hundreds of years will pass before she discovers she didnt drop them at all?
