Beautiful yet cruel

Beautiful yet cruel

A Poem by Mika Haruna
"

gauche, covenant, avid, adamance, note, addle

"

i was gauche in my younger days, when i made my covenant with her

the beautiful silver eyed witch, with her hair like night

she made note of my adamance, when it came to her

my lovely witch, i yearn for thee

i was an avid worker, anything for her

she would grant me the love i wished so much for

in exchange for my soul, a small price i was willing to pay

she would addle me, with her soothing words, in her silky voice

telling me the day drew to a close, and that day drew near

how could one as beautiful as she, be so very cruel?

This is very descriptive and tells a tale of wanting love some much that the person gave their soul just to feel accepted and wanted.

How could a person be so stupid!? Blinded by love i guess and thought he could worry about the cinsequenses later. he should have expected that from a witch. great write!
