Voices

Voices

A Poem by Mika Haruna

I hear the voices in my head.

they follow me into my bed.

where I toss and turn

for the night

I hear the voices during the day.

they call to me, say my name

who are they? these people

that no one but me

can hear

I hear the voices telling me.

Their secret plans are ready

for the time they eat

away at my mind

growing smaller

I told my friend about the voices.

she gave me several choices

I can go of my free will

or she can drag me

to the hell

I escape at last from the voices.

I finally escaped her choices

I cant believe the things

I heard, but they

are gone

I am

free

Great write. Voices can force you to do horrific things.

I've thought about it before and I feel awful for people who hallucinate. It's a hard way to live.
