The Cosmic Weave

The Cosmic Weave

A Poem by Neilp
"

This poem explores the profound themes of unity, reincarnation, and self-discovery inspired by The Egg by Andy Weir. Through six verses, it reflects the journey of a soul as it learns that every life

"

In the void beyond the stars so vast,
A soul returned to its home at last.
Before the presence of ancient grace,
A man stood still in timeless space.

"You lived a life, now here you stand,
But your journey’s more than you understand.
You were all who walked upon the earth,
Each joy, each sorrow, each moment of birth."

"You were the victim, you were the thief,
You sowed the love and reaped the grief.
In every role, through time’s vast play,
You’ve lived and learned along the way."

"For every heart that broke or healed,
Was your own, its truth revealed.
Empathy grew as the lives unrolled,
A single soul in a story told."

"You’re not a fragment, not one, but whole,
A universe within a single soul.
This life you lived is but one more thread,
In the infinite weave of all you’ve been and said."

"Now go again, to learn, to grow,
To reap the seeds of what you sow.
For you’re the creator, the one, the all,
The Egg from which the cosmos calls."
