Son Rise!

Son Rise!

A Poem by Neilp
"

This poem reflects on the celestial and spiritual significance of the moment 2,000 years ago when the Son, symbolized by Christ, rose in Virgo, the Virgin.

"

When the Son rose in Virgo, the stars held their breath,
A virgin's soft whisper foretold life from death.
The heavens aligned in a tale long foretold,
A light to the weary, more precious than gold.

In the cradle of night, the cosmos did sing,
Of shepherds and sages and gifts for a King.
The lion lay still, the harvest stood near,
As love's gentle dawn cast out every fear.
