Today most teenagers put time and effort into the image they wish to project. I like to wear baggy clothes or skating shirts and skinny jeans because they look awesome on me. We are all the same one way or another because we all have our own self image that portrays us as individuals. First of all, I wear baggy clothes or skating shirts with skinny jeans because it looks awesome on me. Wearing this type of clothing makes me feel stylish and fashionable. In today’s society, people who wear this type of clothing are looked at as either skaters, or as really popular. All in all, my appearance expresses my self image. Secondly, other people around the campus and community wear baggy clothes because they think they’re gangsta. They feel that their appearance stands out because they have their own feelings. Therefore, what you wear determines how you want to be perceived by other people. Each person’s appearance represents the image they want to portray. Lastly, we are all the same one way or another because we have our own self image that portrays us as individuals. It doesn’t matter how one dresses; we all have feelings on the inside that counts. Our inner self portrays who we are as an individual. In short, a person is able to express themselves on a daily basis by wearing certain types of clothing. In conclusion it is commonly accepted that manner of dress is a form of self expression. Clothing choices often reflect a person’s personality, belief systems, as well as social affiliations. Today, most teenagers put time, thought, money and effort into the image they wish to project. I like to wear baggy clothes or skating shirts with skinny jeans because it looks awesome.
