A Friendly Letter

A Friendly Letter

A Story by Shawn Bowman

    Dear Man,

I may never have a bone to pick with you, but if you have a bone for me; it is always a dream come true. You may laugh at me when I'm yapping peanut butter through my teeth... But keep in mind that yapping peanut butter for me may just be as much determination as running a marathon for you. You care for me, you love me with open arms and may just be the best belly scratching machine. Well, atleast I don't have to put in a quarter because you and I are best friends, so I've decided not to leave a surprise on your carpet; even though I wonder why. But I won't question my best friend, so I guess I can just greet you at the door and let you know why.

Love,

                    Man's best friend
