A Poem by Neal S

We stand along the shore

Hand in hand waiting for where the wind may take us

Your hair blows wrapping my face in you

 But I no longer care

I no longer blame the demons for my actions

You smell of bath beads and lavender

My knees weak

 Brain spinning

In the right place , the right time you were beauty

 You were love

Our time is past

Like a rusty blade I will sink back into earth to be found by one searching

The memories of what was, against the harsh realities of what now is. How many of us know this scene only too well, from the recurring images that play and plague our mind. Wonderfully captured Neal.

Thank you Sir. Happy you liked it.
Sounds like the memory of lost love.
Feels like heartache.
