Just a DoorA Poem by Neal SI have this door you see It hangs like an obelisk In the corner of my apartment Standing tall and remembering well It remembers the day we brought groceries through it The day we ran to it from the pouring rain The time you leaned against it when I gave that first kiss The cheap wood looking over us Standing tall Remembering well Like the time it held your secret Sneaking through to frighten me in the shower Sharing the hour When you arrived home from work It remembers well
