Dawn

Dawn

A Poem by Neal S

Throw away the map to your soul
The weeping lines on your face to guide me
I will walk among your gardens
Watching the flowers grow
Waiting for your laughter to bring the dawn

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it!
I do hope you take this piece as a beginning and expand and empower it to the places it can BECOME. The first line has the power to draw and hold ...and the last echoes behind my eyes still.

~ you're very welcome...
Woah, I saw you were a new writer and wanted to see if I could help you grow but dang. No growth needed here, this is powerful. I really find no flaw in this piece and it blows me away by the depth of it in only five lines. This is an awesome poem that only leaves me wanting more!
