Unheeded

Unheeded

A Poem by neeyati shah
"

This is a poem about a boy who tries to fit in but remains unnoticed .

"
He was always there
in the shadows
He was like a flower
Trying to bloom in a meadow

Amidst the noise
Even he tried to make a sound
Amidst the crowd
He tried to be found

All he ever wanted was
To be a book on the shelf
But in this world full of giants
He was just a diminutive elf

He was a child
Whose cries were never heard
He was a boy
Who just wanted to be a part of the herd

He was a man
Whose wishes were never learnt
His quest for approval
An aeonian hunt

But a day came ...alone no more
He became one of them
It was the day his lifeless body lay on the floor
But his star shined just as bright as the rest of them

Beautiful and desciptive......

Its really sad that their are people who cared too much about society's approval.......

Be selfish, be self obsessed, be a survivalist
