The King's SpeechA Poem by Neeraj V MuraliA poem written 4 years ago......There was unrest all over the country, Everyone injured and bloody. It was to bring the king down, So all were united from each and every town. The king foolish and weak, Was a freak. Decided to address the people, From the steeple. He had ministers like him, Who were all dim! The king discussed with them, But their ideas he did condemn. He called a writer from foreign lands, Gave him some commands. Told him to write a speech, For him to preach. The next day the king spoke, With the people cracked a joke. The people angry, Loathed him frankly. Hit him with stones, Broke all of his bones. Killed him and Ended the rebellion grand.
