The Outside

A body positive poem.

The outside of your body is nothing like looking in,

we can't judge ourselves even if we don't like our hands or our chin.

The freckles on your body just lead to the inside,

if we rejoice and love ourselves we're on the right mind.

Stomach is too big, our hips are too wide;

everyone has a flaw, but that doesn't mean you can't hide.

Don't shame others for loving themselves,

take all of your negative feelings, and put them on a high shelf.
