A Foggy Beach and Warm SandA Poem by violetta york / nicki elleBased off a dream I had.
A child played with her mother,
in sudden rush to meet cold water. The foggy sky and cold wind blew, while I removed my new brown shoes. My feet met the sand, chilly and white, needles in my soles like a sharks bite. The blood started to vaporize, no more words said; no poem memorized. A beautiful ocean turned into a vast hurricane, was I the only one who was insane? My eyes went black and so did the sun, loud shouts sounding like a wailing gun. No innocence from foggy days, nothing like than a summers daze. Laughing to crying, everyone was dying. This beach was no beach, instead yet another open breach. Nothing was loving, sunny or happy, everything was large amounts of crappy.
