A Poem by Nebunova

Judge me.
Judging you.
I judge you because I swear to god you're judging me.
You judge me in response to my "I'm judging you" face
But this isn't the right time or place
for such nonsense.
So when is?
The fact of the matter is,
society will judge you regardless.........................................................................But if I stay in tuned with myself
Not even the king's smirks or slurs will phase this
I possess the ability to deflect and redirect your vibes untarnished
What heads in your direction is the essence of your reflection

Meanwhile I head towards the sign that reads "Higher Self"
Digging deeper for the rules that define my meaning
I may come off as selfish or self-centered
But I must seek the valleys of my soul
Where true judgement resides within the section
of my heart...

           The epitome of my reflection.

I believe being judgmental is intrinsic to human nature. The problem lies, I think, somewhere in how we make those judgments known to others. We are the cruelest species on the planet.

This is well written and deep. Great food for thought.

I like the distinction between you own "true judgement" and the judgement of others.

Although everyone judges someone who judges them, as you point out in the beginning of your poem.

I quite like the message of this write. Judgement is hard to escape but perhaps if concentrate on doing our best and trying to understand, well maybe we'll get somewhere.

I wonder where this comes from but it has been with us since time began
is it because we are different or curious,i think a lot of us are self centered and even cruel at times
but I believe the root of the problem is pride and a strange sensation of self worth or a false sensation
well I`m worth 2.95 lol great poem and you are so right

This was wonderful, I love how you start out judging and then decide to take the high road. Beautiful poem. I didn't find any mistakes.

We go through life with a constant state of judging whether ourselves or others. It is a reflection of our sense of justice or not or definition of morality or not. Whether we judge or not we should heal ourselves and heal others if we can or be a role model to show them the light. People are fragile and they make mistakes like us so any judging has to be in our or their best interest with love and caring.A very good write on this subject...:)............

This is really good! The whole confronting your reflection and the why of why we all judge ourselves and the way you played around with the formatting really works.
