A Poem by Nebunova

Judge me.
Judging you.
I judge you because I swear to god you're judging me.
You judge me in response to my "I'm judging you" face
But this isn't the right time or place
for such nonsense.
So when is?
The fact of the matter is,
society will judge you regardless.........................................................................But if I stay in tuned with myself
Not even the king's smirks or slurs will phase this
I possess the ability to deflect and redirect your vibes untarnished
What heads in your direction is the essence of your reflection

Meanwhile I head towards the sign that reads "Higher Self"
Digging deeper for the rules that define my meaning
I may come off as selfish or self-centered
But I must seek the valleys of my soul
Where true judgement resides within the section
of my heart...

           The epitome of my reflection.

I as a reader is taken in by the verse...the way you convey the words in the lines of this work...like you are looking at the facet of self in the mirror and speaking out the emotions as they unfold within each stanza...the separation of divide in the 1st and 2d stanza gives us much to understand and the last takes the emission of the entire read into perspective...a collective of the whole with your last line...

I only saw a couple areas of interest that can be modified in the write:

Where true judgement resides within the section
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where true judgment resides within the section

and the other areas is just impo of the way the lines are structured...but no need to point out...since that may be your intent...give this a personal feel as you the writer of the work...

Human nature.....indeed, we do judge. We judge others and we judge ourselves and then we judge the way others are judging us. It all comes down to being true to yourself. I liked the way you set up this poem. Like a mirror image of itself. Lydi**

You must be Anand's soulmate, Nebunova. The two of you always get my mind churning. A very well written and insightful reflection on human nature.

"Meanwhile I head towards the sign that reads 'Higher Self'"

I believe this will become my new mantra. We must simply be ourselves and not allow the critics to break our spirit or tear us down. Very well done:)

Very Nice! '...where I continue to search the mulitfaceted mirrors, chasing shimmering phantoms, so I can find that me being reflected, and in its recognition, myself forever grasp.'

I had to, you moved me, it's your fault, chuckle, I swear to god you made me do it. Keep writing!

So true. I'll bet you're glad you wrote this, aren't you? I am.

This is amazing! A perfect depiction of our struggles to always be a better person when there are so many people out there trying to lead us astray and distract us from what is true and important. I love the way you have laid this out, from one side to the other coming to fall into the middle.

"Where true judgement resides within the section of my heart..."
