Human NatureA Poem by Jarett Anderson
Nature lives and dies In the home of God’s symmetry Nature evolves, nature resides Nature resolves, nature survives Never falters, never sways Never questions nature’s fate Along the path that nature makes The laws of nature stays in place Humans live and die In the home of nature’s symmetry Humans breathe from nature’s breath Humans feed from nature’s breast Humans live off nature’s death Until human nature is all that’s left Humans hide from nature’s law With nature’s roofs, and nature’s walls Humans lie from nature’s song With human rights and human wrongs Until humans find their nature’s gone Free to leave from nature’s hold To question laws and reflect their own Free to believe what they think to know Until nature calls their nature home Nature lives and dies In the home of God’s symmetry Nature evolves, nature resides Nature resolves, nature survives Never falters, never sways Never questions nature’s fate Along the path that nature makes The laws of nature stays in place © 2008 Jarett AndersonReviews
