Eyes of BlueA Poem by Emma MoodyA poem about a girl who loses herself and everything life means to her. There was a girl. And her eyes were blue. And she was always happy. And she would smile a lot. She liked to draw. And listen to music. And write poems. She would cry sometimes. But not because she was sad. But because she was laughing too much. She would go out all the time. And she would laugh. And she would smile. And she loved her life. And she always would There was a girl. And her eyes were blue. And she wasn't as happy. And she wouldn't smile as much. She liked to draw. And listen to music. And write poems. She would cry sometimes. Because she was sad. Because the laughter stopped. She didn't go out a lot. And she would rarely laugh. And she would rarely smile. And she didn't like her life. And she never would. There was a girl. And her eyes were blue. And she was never happy. And she would fake her smile. She liked to draw. But the pen was a razor. And the paper was her skin. She liked to listen to music. But it made her sad. Because her mind was blank. She liked to write poems. But she stopped writing. Because she was too tired to do anymore. She was alone a lot. And she felt lonely. Because her world was dark. And she never laughed. And she never smiled. And she hated her life. And she always would. Emma Moody
