Love is

Love is

A Poem by nathan
"

What my fiancee has show me love to be

"
Love is the boulder, which parts the flowing stream,
Love is the lantern, which guides the waking dream;
Love is the diamond, the brilliance of the coal;
Love is the ember, which ignites the sleeping soul,
Love is life's mystery, it wisps enchantment in the air,
Nature's ancient battleground, where of course, all is fair;
Oh Tamara, my love, in our days you'll come to see;
this glorious, godly, gift of love, which you have given to me.

Love is the word, which tames the fiercest beast,
Love is the treasure, most sought but reckoned least;
Love is the shield, which guards the honest heart,
Our love is eternal, even if in death we part;
Love is the Angel, who may lead the demons within!
respected by my shadow, protected from my sin!
Oh Tamara, my love, in our days I'll make you believe;
in this glorious, gift of life and love, which you have given to me.
