The Prison Mansion

The Prison Mansion

A Poem by NBP-325
"

I found a great prompt on Pintrest about writing horror in a Dr. Seuss voice. I came up with a mansion where bad people are sent to receive final judgement. Enjoy!

"

Creaks and Clacks and scary sounds resonate through these old walls

Demons stretch and dream their dreams beneath the tattered halls

A Galant mansion this was once has become the Wicked's lair

As ghouls and ghosts and creepy folks float by to Boo and scare

Now, my friend, you wait in bed due to evil deeds

And wait for mangled punishment before the moon recedes

Here they come awoken by the rasping of your breath

To deliver a fate most cruel, so much worse than death
