Unspoken Words

Unspoken Words

A Poem by My Writing Obsession

I glance at your beauty.

You look at me.

We gape at each other.

Eyes locked.

No looking back.

I want you.

I wish I could read your mind.

Does every girl?

We could be together.

If I only said something to you.

If you said something to me.

We could be in love.

We could be together forever.

For eternity.

I could be your lover.

You mine.

My consort.

I've only dreamed of you since I was able.

You'd understand if you knew.

I wish you would know my pressure.

Why I couldn't tell you.

The jealousy of my friend.

I know you want me.

I can feel it.

But you are with her.

My friend.

The one I've trusted and known since I was able to chat.

I feel like I love you.

But you pretend to loathe me.
