The Depression Awaits

The Depression Awaits

A Poem by My Writing Obsession

You Touch My Cheek

There's Softness in Every Touch

We Kiss

We Love

But When I'm Laying There Next To You

I'm Afraid

Afraid of the Awaiting Depression

Knowing that You Will Cause it All

What do I do?

Leave You There Unhappy and Waiting For Me?
Or do I sit there and make myself unhappy?

I wish I could say I love you

I wish I could be with you forever

I wish we'd stay together

But in our condition it is over.

I cannot love you.

I cannot be with you forever

We cannot stay together.
