Darkness Understands

My life has turned dark

with my hurt and emotionless heart

if only i could feel,

its like im hurting and the pain is unreal

 

but im drowning in my own loneliness

killing me softly which only leads to hopelessness

fallinq into a depression

only puts me in a bottomless pit of question

 

do i take my life?

or do i hold on to and eternity of paralizing stife.

hiding in the dark

cutting skin that leaves a mark

 

Tears like acid rain

crying over and over again

slowly peeling away my attractive face

i leave no identity behind me-notrace

 

only the dark can understand

still as i cut my hand

letting loose my hurt

with blood stains on my shirt

 

Everything done in the dark must come to light

oh how i lonq to shine bright. . .
